B.Pharm Course

In order to provide technical education to industrials, marketing new drugs and to create self employment in industrial and educational field, Yavatmal Zilla Vikas Samiti started B.Pharm course from academic session 1997-98 in P.Wadhwani College of Pharmacy, Yavatmal.

  DURATION   Four years integrated course.

  AGE LIMIT   There is no age limit
  APPROVALS   The college is approved by Pharmacy council of India, All India Coucil for Technical Education , New Delhi Director of Technical Education Mumbai, Government of Maharashtra , Mumbai and affiliated to Amravati University, Amravati.

For Maharashtra State Candidate. - Candidate should have passes 1.higher secondary certificate (H.S.C.) std XII examination of the Maharashtra State Board of secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Mathematics. and secured minimum 50% marks (45% for backward calss candidates from Maharashtra State only) in Physics, Chemistry and the subject of maximum marks amongst the 2 subjects mentioned above added together and

Appeared for Maharashtra - Pharmacy - common entrance Test conducted by competant authority and secured nonzero score.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR 15% OMS SEATS COMMING UNDER CAP (OMS) :- Basic qualification as specified as above.

Distribution of seats for academic year 2005-2006 will be as follows:

a. Management Seats - 20% of sanctioned intake (for MS)
b. Common Seats (CAP) - 65% of sanctioned intake (For Maharashtra State Candidate)
c. OMS Quota - 15% of sanctioned intake (For OMS Candidate)

DIRECT SECOND YEAR B.PHARM ADMISSION:

For the direct 2nd Year B.Pharm. admission candidate should have passed the (Post SSC/Post HSC) Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) from Maharashtra State or other state from an institute approved by Pharmacy Council of India scoring minimum 1st class (60% i.e. 720/1200) as per ER-81/and 600/1000 as per ER-91) in the first attempt. The admission of such candidate shall be subject to eligibility being granted by the University affiliating the admitting college.

Note:- Any other changes / additional requirement in admission qualification as laid down by Directorate of Technical Education or PCI from time to time shall be applicable.
